Two of our model students receive Award

June saw two of our best students at a special Award Ceremony at Manchester Town Hall. The students were accompanied by their parents and representatives from the Academy who were delighted to attend the event. 

Manchester Educational Award for Model Students.

Manchester Children's Services requested schools to nominate students who fitted a profile for achievements such as contribution to school life etc. Both Ben and Amy have proved to be model students who are punctual, always in uniform (including bag), 97%+ attenders and always complete targets and objectives with no complaints and to the best of their abilities. Ben has also previously won community awards and taken part in numerous music events including one with the famous Halle Orchestra. 

A number of Manchester schools and academies were represented. Following a buffet lunch, our students were presented  with a special certificate and a £20 gift voucher by the Lord Mayor. 

Ben's mum said "This was the top of a very busy year at the Manchester Enterprise Academy for Ben and she couldn't be any more thrilled". Mr Worthington, the student coach for the students said,"These two deserved the nomination and all the rewards that came with it. It was an absolute pleasure".
