About MEA
Wythenshawe's most improved School! We are moving forward at a great pace
As a parent you want the very best for your child, and Manchester Enterprise Academy gives them a great chance to achieve their full potential, learning the skills that will equip them for life and the world of work, further training and higher education.
Manchester Enterprise Academy is publicly funded so it is free for your child to attend, but also independent giving us the opportunity to focus on preparing your sons and daughters for employment as well as achieving high academic standards.
It is supported by lead sponsor Manchester Airport and co-sponsors Willow Park Housing Trust, The Manchester College and Manchester City Council; these organisations all help to shape the ethos of the academy and build a bridge between education and business which will bring careers and prosperity not just to your children, but to the community as a whole.
The learning is centred around enterprise, technology and innovation. Students are encouraged to develop as individuals through personalised learning programmes. Manchester Enterprise Academy opened to students in September 2009 and moved into its new state of the art building in September 2010.
Manchester Enterprise Academy presents a fantastic opportunity for your child to achieve academic success and learn the additional skills that will help them go on to achieve their goals in their chosen career.
