We are currently looking for 2 parent governors to join the Governing Board of Manchester Enterprise Academy.  Details of the election process are shown below.

If you are interested in joining our Governing Board we would be delighted to hear from you.

All parent/carers of our students will have recieved a copy of the Nomination Paper in a letter earlier this month or you can download and print off this Nomination Paper pdf.

PARENT GOVERNOR ELECTIONS

NOTICE OF ELECTION AND NOMINATION PAPERS

NUMBER OF PARENT GOVERNOR VACANCIES - TWO

·      Nominations are invited on the enclosed form not later than 3.00pm on Thursday 22 October 2009 for the election of two parent governors to the Governing Board for a four year period.  

·      Candidates must be the parent of a student at the Academy at the time of the election and must agree to being nominated. Nominations must be supported by a proposer and seconder, both of whom should be parents of a student at the Academy, and one of whom may also be the spouse of the candidate. A parent may not propose or second more than ONE candidate.  

·      If there is more than TWO nominations, an election will be held. Candidates may, therefore, wish to provide a statement of not more than 100 words which will be sent to parents with the ballot papers.
