Manchester Enterprise Academy is committed to putting learning at the centre of life and for that to succeed, there needs to be a partnership between the academy, the students and their parents/carers.
We offer:
Support from staff for progress, welfare and attainment:-
- Learning mentors to provide counselling and guidance for students.
- Teaching assistants to give support during the academy day
- A guidance tutor for each form group responsible for pastoral care.
- A Director of Progress for each year group responsible for tracking and monitoring students' attainment against agreed targets.
- Student coaches for each year group to set targets, track attendance, punctuality and behaviour.
- Student mentoring provided by school staff, sponsors and potential university partners.
From students we expect:
- Good behaviour both inside and outside the academy.
- Hard work on all projects, course work and assignments.
- The complete Manchester Enterprise Academy uniform to be worn.
- Full attendance, punctuality and courtesy.
- Quiet and sensible conduct around the academy.
- Students to bring bags and equipment and to use their daily planners.
From parents/carers we would like:
- Support for your child to make sure they arrive on time, in the complete uniform with the equipment they need to learn.
- Discipline to ensure your child complete course work and homework.
- A genuine commitment and interest in your child’s education at the academy.
