Manchester Enterprise Academy presents a unique opportunity for us to radically transform learning and the aspirations of students, families and the wider community in the Wythenshawe and Greater Manchester area.
Because of our excellent partnerships with our lead sponsor Manchester Airport and co-sponsors Willow Park Housing Trust, The Manchester College and Manchester City Council, we are able to take full advantage of all the opportunities commerce has to offer and allow our students to achieve their true potential.
We specialise in enterprise covering information communication technology, creative and media studies, travel and tourism, and retail. That means we focus on developing our students’ skills and attitude for the world of work, higher education or further training. We work closely with parents and guardians to achieve the support vital to our success.
Our mission is putting learning at the centre of life and we want students to develop and grow through bespoke learning and strong links to business.
We recognise that to provide world-class education we are going to have to continue to innovate – adopting the best ideas from around the globe – and to develop and support our staff. We already have a great team who are excited and enthusiastic about what we can offer students at the academy.
These are exciting times in education and I’m personally extremely proud to be at the helm of this new Manchester Enterprise Academy.
