Manchester Enterprise Academy Celebrate Excellent Results

Posted on: 12/08/2021

Following another very challenging year, students, parents/carers and staff at Manchester Enterprise Academy were able to celebrate some excellent GCSE results.

It fills us with pride that our students have achieved what they fully deserve and leave Manchester Enterprise Academy well prepared to start their next chapter in their journey. All the students have contributed so much to our school community, setting them up for a fantastic future.

Ruth Bradbury, Principal said: " Our students may not have sat formal examinations this year, but they went through an intense period of assessment in the summer term, and every single grade has been backed up by extensive evidence that they met the standards of the grades awarded. This is a year group who have faced enormous disruption and challenges, and I am truly in awe of what they have achieved.

“These grades are a result of five years of dedication, enthusiasm and hard work from everyone in our school community. I would like to thank the staff, as well as parents and carers for the amazing support to both the students and the Academy.

“On behalf of the staff, I would like to congratulate our year 11 students on their excellent GCSE exam results and wish them all the very best in their next steps.”

There have been some fantastic individual performances, which reflect the diligence of the students in their GCSE studies. We would especially like to congratulate a number of our students for their academic success and some outstanding personal progress.

These include Cristian Preda (7 Grade 9, 2 Grade 8), Ayesha Shahid (2 Grade 9, 4 Grade 8, 3 Grade 7), May Nguyen (7 Grade 9, 1 Grade 8), Sowndharya Sathiyamoorthy (5 Grade 9, 3 Grade 8), Munira Ahmed (5 Grade 9, 3 Grade 8, 1 Grade 7), Amber O'Neill (3 Grade 9, 5 Grade 8), Bethany Boulton (3 Grade 9, 5 Grade 8), Myles Swamy (5 Grade 9, 3 Grade 8, 2 Grade 6), Harry Wellings (5 Grade 9, 3 Grade 8, 1 Grade 7), Emillia O’Donoghue (4 Grade 9, 1 Grade 8, 1 Grade 8).
