Year 9 Students visit the University of Bolton

Posted on: 17/06/2022

This week Year 9 students went on a trip to the University of Bolton where they explored post-16 education pathways, the world of automotive engineering, and learned about special FX. Our students also enjoyed a theatre performance delivered by 2Engage which explored the dilemmas young people face after they leave school\college.

University staff and ambassadors described MEA as the best school\students they've ever worked with, which was great to hear too. Students discussed their plans for the future and it is incredibly inspiring to see so many of our students aspiring to be the best they can be. Hopefully with experiences like these, they can start to plan for their fantastic future.

One of the many highlights for me was Rohit winning an award and voucher for ‘asking the best questions’. Safe to say he kept them on their toes! Massive thank you to Mr Sharif and Ms Brown for all their support with these student.

Our students really do thrive when they’re outside of MEA.
