Coronavirus - Manchester Community Response

Posted on: 01/04/2020

Manchester City Council have set up a hub to support the most vulnerable people and help them cope with the impacts of the coronavirus outbreak.

They can help you if you are self isolating and have no support network and are either over the age of 70; received a letter from the NHS advising you are high risk; or you are medically vulnerable according to government criteria.

They can help you with things such as food or medication delivery, managing fuel top-up payments and combating loneliness.

Help is also available for other reasons, for example if you are a carer, care leaver or young carer.

If you need advice or support call the helpline on 0800 234 6123 between 8.30am and 5.30pm, Monday-Saturday.
