MEA's Run Up to Christmas

We have had an amazing week at MEA as the whole school embraced the festive spirit in the final days of term. The highlight for many was Christmas Dinner Day; the atrium was transformed into a warm, sparkling celebration space. Staff and students enjoyed a delicious meal surrounded by twinkling lights, cheerful music, and an impressive array of Christmas jumpers that brought plenty of smiles and laughter. It was so special to celebrate with our students, and we owe a HUGE thank you to all the staff who pulled together to decorate, organise, and tidy up afterwards! A big shoutout especially to our fabulous Catering team, without whom this wonderful day would be impossible.

Adding to the excitement, we also celebrated our ‘5 Days of Christmas Rewards’. Every day, students who were present in all lessons had their names added to a prize wheel, giving them the chance to win a festive gift. There were different presents all throughout the week, from chocolate hampers to fluffy hats and slippers -- each day brought new anticipation and six lucky winners from every year group. Our mini ‘Santa’s Grotto’ added an extra touch of magic, and an opportunity to celebrate those students who show commitment and dedication right through to the very end of term.
