Year 6 Day

We look forward to welcoming our next cohort of students to the Academy on Thursday 3rd July 2025!

Students are to attend wearing their Primary School uniform. Please arrive via the MEA Gate on Simonsway from 9:00am for a 9.15am start, where there will be Academy staff to meet them. 

All students will be provided with a break time snack and a meal at lunch time. A vegetarian option is available, however if there are any other dietary requirements, please let us know before Thursday.  

The day finishes at 2:45pm.  

The induction evening for parents/carers begins at  4:00pm for those with whose child's surname begins A-K and 5.00pm for L-Z, entrance will be via the main MEA Gate on Simonsway. Please be aware that we are unable to facilitate children between 3 - 3.45pm before the evening starts. 

During the evening you will have the opportunity to meet the Headteacher, the Senior Leadership Team for Year 7 and your child’s Form Tutor. You will be able to ask any questions, raise any concerns you have and receive your free blazer, tie and £25 Wynsors shoe voucher (please note that the online admissions form must be completed before receiving these vouchers). 

If you are unable to make the evening, we will contact you to arrange another time for you to receive this.
